6400 SERIES OVERVIEW
The 6400 Series electric door strike is designed to be highly configurable to fit almost any mortise or cylindrical lock. As a 3-hour UL 10C listed strike, it provides a fail-secure only solution for fire-rated openings. The strike allows installers to insert and lock in place the deadbolt keeper, or the plug and dead latch ramp, anywhere within its 3-1/8” vertical opening to suit latchbolt position and functional needs Combined with horizontal adjustability, this makes the easy-to-install 6400 Series a good fit for installations where misalignment or a tight fit may be a problem. installation, indoors or out.

COMPATIBILITY
The 6400 Series’ modular components can be configured to fit cylindrical and nearly any mortise locks, including those with offset latches. It can accommodate a deadbolt up to 1" in a night latch function* and has 1/8" horizontal adjustment and a range of vertical adjustments for misaligned doors and frames.
WARRANTY
Subject to the terms and conditions of this warranty, Schlage Lock Company LLC (“Schlage”) extends a warranty against defects in material and workmanship to the original user (defined below) of the products manufactured by Schlage (the “Products”) beginning from the date of purchase by the original user. Please see below for specific warranty periods and details:
- Warranty period for Mechanical Components: 60 months from date of placing in operation or 66 months from the date of shipment from Company’s factory.
- Warranty period for Electronic Components: 12 months from date of placing in operation or 18 months from the date of shipment from Company’s factory.
