(1CD, 1CDP, 1CDF, or 1CDX) must be used with escutcheon trims, and 1EK7K4 high security cylinder must be used with sectional trims.

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness (standard 1-3/4" or up to 5" thick door configuration), mortise pocket dimensions, and handing requirements.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door and frame surfaces for proper backset alignment.
3. Prepare door mortise pocket and frame strike preparation according to specifications, ensuring proper clearances for latch and deadbolt operation.
4. Install lock case in mortise pocket and secure with provided screws, utilizing the self-aligning trim mechanism for accurate positioning.
5. Install escutcheon trim and adjust operational components including the four position hub toggle for desired locking configuration and lever return mechanism.
