(1CD, 1CDP, 1CDF, or 1CDX) must be used with escutcheon trims, and 1EK7K4 high security cylinder must be used with sectional trims.

Auxiliary bolt – Stainless steel, non-handed.
Backset – 2-3/4"
Case –0.095” cold rolled steel, 5- 7/8" H x 7/8" D x 4-1/16" W. Steel is zinc dichromate plated for corrosion protection.
Deadbolt – Stainless steel, 1" throw.
Latchbolt –Solid stainless steel, 3/4" throw. Latch is oil-impregnated for anti-friction operation. Reversible without opening case.

Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness (standard 1-3/4" or up to 5" thick door configuration), 2-3/4" backset, and handing as applicable to this product.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door and frame surfaces for mortise lock preparation.
3. Prepare door and frame by drilling required holes and routing mortise cavity as specified in manufacturer instructions for proper lock body fit.
4. Install lock body in mortise cavity and secure with provided mounting hardware per manufacturer torque specifications, ensuring armored front self-aligns with door bevel.
5. Install rose trim assembly and adjust operational components including four position hub toggle for proper alignment, latching, and smooth lever operation throughout full range of motion.
