45H Series –ANSI A156.13, Series 1000, Grade 1 Operation and Strength, Grade 2 Security. To meet Grade 1 Security, a drill resistant core
(1CD, 1CDP, 1CDF, or 1CDX) must be used with escutcheon trims, and 1EK7K4 high security cylinder must be used with sectional trims.

Auxiliary bolt – Stainless steel, non-handed.
Backset – 2-3/4"
Case –0.095” cold rolled steel, 5- 7/8" H x 7/8" D x 4-1/16" W. Steel is zinc dichromate plated for corrosion protection.
Deadbolt – Stainless steel, 1" throw.
Latchbolt –Solid stainless steel, 3/4" throw. Latch is oil-impregnated for anti-friction operation. Reversible without opening case.

Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness, mortise pocket dimensions, and cylinder preparation for this mortise lock configuration.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door and frame surfaces for proper lock body and strike installation.
3. Prepare door by cutting mortise pocket to specified dimensions and drilling required holes for cylinder, trim mounting, and through-bolts per manufacturer instructions.
4. Install lock body in mortise pocket and secure with provided screws. Install strike box and strike plate in frame mortise with proper alignment to lock body.
5. Mount escutcheon trim and install cylinder with proper core configuration. Adjust operational components for proper alignment, latching, and smooth lever operation.
6. Test lock operation including key function, lever operation, latch engagement, and deadbolt throw to verify proper function. Refer to manufacturer documentation for complete installation details and troubleshooting.
