Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness (standard 1-3/4" or up to 5" thick door configuration), mortise pocket dimensions, and handing requirements.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door and frame surfaces for proper backset alignment.
3. Prepare door mortise pocket and frame strike pocket according to specifications, ensuring proper clearances for latch and deadbolt operation.
4. Install lock case in door mortise and secure armored front, allowing self-alignment with door bevel during installation process.
5. Mount rose trim assemblies and connect to lock mechanism, utilizing self-aligning trim mechanism for accurate positioning and secure attachment.
6. Test lock operation including latch retraction, deadbolt extension, key function, and lever return spring mechanism to verify proper alignment and smooth operation throughout full range of motion.
