45H Series –ANSI A156.13, Series 1000, Grade 1 Operation and Strength, Grade 2 Security. To meet Grade 1 Security, a drill resistant core
(1CD, 1CDP, 1CDF, or 1CDX) must be used with escutcheon trims, and 1EK7K4 high security cylinder must be used with sectional trims.

Auxiliary bolt – Stainless steel, non-handed.
Backset – 2-3/4"
Case –0.095” cold rolled steel, 5- 7/8" H x 7/8" D x 4-1/16" W. Steel is zinc dichromate plated for corrosion protection.
Deadbolt – Stainless steel, 1" throw.
Latchbolt –Solid stainless steel, 3/4" throw. Latch is oil-impregnated for anti-friction operation. Reversible without opening case.

Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness (standard 1-3/4" or up to 5" thick door configuration), mortise pocket dimensions, and handing requirements.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door and frame surfaces for proper backset and faceplate positioning.
3. Prepare door mortise pocket and frame strike pocket according to specifications, ensuring proper clearances for latch and deadbolt operation.
4. Install mortise lock case into door pocket and secure with provided screws, ensuring armored front self-aligns with door bevel during installation.
5. Mount escutcheon trim and configure four position hub toggle to determine locked/unlocked operation per privacy function requirements.
6. Test lock operation including latch retraction, deadbolt extension, visual indicator function, and lever return mechanism to verify proper alignment and smooth operation throughout full range of motion.
