(1CD, 1CDP, 1CDF, or 1CDX) must be used with escutcheon trims, and 1EK7K4 high security cylinder must be used with sectional trims.

Auxiliary bolt – Stainless steel, non-handed.
Backset – 2-3/4"
Case –0.095” cold rolled steel, 5- 7/8" H x 7/8" D x 4-1/16" W. Steel is zinc dichromate plated for corrosion protection.
Deadbolt – Stainless steel, 1" throw.
Latchbolt –Solid stainless steel, 3/4" throw. Latch is oil-impregnated for anti-friction operation. Reversible without opening case.

Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness (standard 1-3/4" or thick door configuration up to 5"), mortise pocket dimensions, and handing requirements.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door and frame surfaces for the 2-3/4" backset configuration.
3. Prepare door mortise pocket and drill required holes for cylinder, trim mounting, and through-bolts per manufacturer specifications.
4. Install case assembly into mortise pocket and secure with provided fasteners, ensuring armored front self-aligns with door bevel during installation.
5. Install trim components using self-aligning trim mechanism for accurate positioning and secure with appropriate hardware.
6. Configure four position hub toggle to determine locking operation for each hub (always locked, always unlocked, or locked by key) based on application requirements.
7. Test lock operation including latch and deadbolt function, key operation, and lever return mechanism. Verify proper alignment and smooth operation throughout full range of motion. Refer to manufacturer documentation for complete installation details and troubleshooting.
