Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness (standard 1-3/4" or thick door up to 5"), mortise pocket dimensions, and handing requirements.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door and frame surfaces for proper backset alignment.
3. Prepare door mortise pocket to accommodate case dimensions of 5-7/8" H x 7/8" D x 4-1/16" W and route faceplate opening for 8" H x 1-1/4" W dimensions.
4. Install lock case in mortise pocket and secure with provided mounting hardware per manufacturer torque specifications, allowing armored front to self-align with door bevel.
5. Configure four position hub toggle settings and latch direction as needed for specific exit function requirements and door handing.
6. Test lock case operation to verify proper latch and deadbolt function, smooth hub operation, and proper alignment. Refer to manufacturer documentation for complete installation details and troubleshooting.
