Designed for doors 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" thick with standard 2-3/4" backset, this heavy-duty lock operates on 12V AC/DC at 0.50 amps or 24V AC/DC at 0.18 amps when used with the supplied Temperature Control Module (TCM). UL listed for electrically-controlled single-point locks and approved by the California State Fire Marshal.

NOTE: All W-series locks require the use of a (TCM) Temperature Control Module.

A TCM and TCM connector are supplied standard with every order.

Installation & Operation

2. Disconnect power supply before beginning installation. Follow all applicable electrical codes and safety procedures.
3. Mount the unit in the specified location ensuring adequate clearance for wiring access, ventilation, and future service requirements.
4. Route and connect wiring according to manufacturer wiring diagrams. Use appropriate wire gauge and connectors for the application.
5. Configure operational settings including fail-secure/fail-safe operation per application requirements.

7. Complete final inspection and document settings. Refer to manufacturer documentation for complete wiring diagrams, programming instructions, and troubleshooting.
