Detex Exit Alarm Kit for Advantex Exits, 9VDC/12VAC with Remote Signal and Remote Bypass
The Detex SIF-EA-48-630 Exit Alarm Kit is a high-performance alarm solution designed for compatibility with 48” Advantex exit devices. Featuring a slide-in filler plate kit, this unit delivers a powerful directional piezo alarm output exceeding 100 dB to signal unauthorized exits. It includes remote signal and bypass relays, an LED display for status indication, and a satin stainless steel (630 finish) for enhanced durability and aesthetics.
The unit supports dual power operation (9VDC and 12/24VAC/DC) and comes with advanced options like a key stop function—permitting key removal only when armed—and a factory-installed cylinder housing compatible with 7-pin interchangeable core (IC) cylinders. A mortise cylinder with standard Yale cam is required (sold separately). Optional dogging is available for non-fire rated doors. Clear “EMERGENCY EXIT ONLY – ALARM WILL SOUND” signage in English with red lettering ensures effective communication.
