Maxum® Deadbolts

Deadbolts are about strength. Just hold an ANSI Grade 1 Maxum® deadbolt in your hand, and you know this is one tough hunk of protection. Maxum deadbolt is available as a single- or double-cylinder or with a “captive thumbturn.” The captive thumbturn converts the inside cylinder to a thumbturn for easy exit when the facility is occupied. A quick conversion when the facility is not occupied returns it to double cylinder mode to guard against unauthorized entry. Maxum® deadbolts are UL 437 listed, offering maximum protection with solid-brass construction, along with anti-drilling, picking and anti-prying features.

  Patent-pendingkey controlprotects against unauthorized duplication of keys (Medeco 4).

• Protection Against 3D Printing
  A patent-pending movable element in the key deters unauthorized 3D printed copies of keys or blanks.

• Picking and Bumping Protection
  M4 cylinders use cylinder side pins, a shuttle lift pin and a movable key element to engage a sidebar that prevents the key from turning until the elements are rotated and aligned in the correct position, protecting against bumping, picking and other attacks.

• Certified Grade 1
  BHMA certified Grade 1, passes to the highest standards in the industry.

• Drill Protection
  Offers maximum protection with solid-brass construction and strategically placed drill pins.

• Protection From Physical Attack
  Medeco 4 Maxum Deadbolts are UL 437 Listed and stand up to prying, picking and other forms of physical attack.

• Special Angle Cut Keys
  Requires a special key cutting machine and access to Medeco specific blanks, available in a variety of restrictions to support every need.

• Master Keying Capabilities
  M4 deadbolts can be master keyed into a system that includes M4, M4 BiLevel*, and M4 CLIQ** keys and cylinders. Extremely large systems are possible.
