The Sargent 5556-8804F (8804 Series) Wide Stile Rim Exit Device is a heavy-duty, Grade 1 panic exit solution designed for commercial and institutional openings requiring reliable life-safety egress and secure controlled entry. This 36" rim exit device includes Electric Latch Retraction (ETL) for access control integration, a Request-to-Exit (REX) switch for door monitoring and system signaling, and a Nightlatch function where the key retracts the latchbolt from the exterior. Supplied less dogging to help prevent unauthorized hold-open operation.
