Installation & Operation

1. Verify door preparation meets specifications including 2-1/8" cross bore diameter, 1" edge bore diameter, and door thickness between 1-3/8" to 1-3/4".
2. Install the deadbolt latch assembly in the door edge bore and secure with provided screws. Select appropriate faceplate from triple option latch (round corner, square corner, or drive-in).
3. Mount the exterior touchscreen assembly and connect the cable to the interior assembly, ensuring proper alignment and secure fit.
4. Install 4 AA batteries in the interior assembly and test basic lock/unlock operation using the touchscreen interface.
5. Program initial user codes and configure alarm settings according to manufacturer instructions for your specific security requirements.
6. For Z-Wave integration, follow your home automation system’s pairing procedure to connect the deadbolt to your wireless network with the push of a button.
