Installation & Operation

1. Verify door preparation meets specifications including 1-1/2" or 2-1/8" cross bore diameter, 1" edge bore diameter, and 4" center-to-center minimum cross bore distance.
2. Remove existing deadbolt hardware and clean all mounting surfaces. Ensure door thickness is within 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" range.
3. Install the deadbolt mechanism in the door edge bore and secure the exterior and interior assemblies with provided mounting hardware.
4. Adjust backset to either 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" as required for proper door frame alignment and install appropriate faceplate option (round corner, square corner, or drive-in).
5. Install 4 AA batteries in the interior assembly and program the lock with the unique 6-digit programming code and desired 4-digit access codes.
