Installation & Operation

1. Verify door preparation requirements including 1-1/2" or 2-1/8" cross bore diameter, 1" edge bore diameter, and 4" center-to-center minimum cross bore distance.
2. Disconnect any existing wiring and remove old hardware. Ensure door thickness is within 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" range or use thick door kit for 1-7/8" to 2-1/2" doors.
3. Install the deadbolt mechanism in the door edge bore and secure with provided screws. Adjust backset to 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" as required for door preparation.
4. Mount exterior keypad assembly and connect to interior assembly following manufacturer wiring diagrams. Install 4 AA batteries in the interior unit.
