Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness from 1-5/8" to 1-3/4", backset options of 2-3/8" or 2-3/4", and compatibility with F58 exterior handleset.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door surfaces, utilizing the adjustable throughbolt feature for pre-existing hole alignment.
3. Prepare door by drilling required holes for the 1" x 2-1/4" latch and deadbolt faceplates with 1/4" radius corners as specified in manufacturer instructions.
4. Install the integrated strike and reinforcer with provided 3" screws, ensuring proper alignment with both spring latch and deadbolt mechanisms.
5. Mount the interior trim assembly and adjust the throughbolt up to 1-1/2" as needed for proper alignment with existing holes and smooth operation.
6. Test both spring latch and deadbolt operation to verify proper function with 1/2" and 1" throws respectively, and make final adjustments as needed. Refer to manufacturer documentation for complete installation details and F58 pairing instructions.
