Keyed Entry (Single Cylinder) Function: This single cylinder handleset is keyed on the exterior with an associated locking mechanism on the inside that can quickly and easily lock or unlock the deadbolt latch. The exterior handle has a thumb plate that depresses to disengage the door latch and the interior handle features a lever or knob. Single cylinder locks are most commonly used to secure entrances to a residence or place of business.

Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness (1-3/8" to 1-3/4"), backset adjustment (2-3/8" or 2-3/4"), and handing as applicable to this product.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately including 2-1/8" cross bore and 1" edge bore on door surfaces.
3. Prepare door by drilling required holes including cross bore, edge bore, and any additional mounting points as specified in manufacturer instructions.
4. Install the adjustable throughbolt system and secure the handleset to door per manufacturer torque specifications, utilizing the sliding bottom bolt for proper alignment.
5. Adjust operational components including deadbolt and latch mechanisms for proper alignment, smooth thumbturn operation, and secure latching throughout the full range of motion.
