Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness from 1-5/8" to 2-3/4" and backset requirements for 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" installations.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door interior surface, utilizing the adjustable throughbolt range of 1-1/2" for existing hole patterns.
3. Prepare door by drilling required holes for the Alexandria knob assembly and deadbolt thumbturn according to manufacturer specifications.
4. Install the latch assembly (Part 16-680) with appropriate faceplate configuration and secure strike set (Part 10-269) to door frame with provided 3" reinforcement screws.
5. Mount the Alexandria glass knob and deadbolt thumbturn assembly, adjusting the throughbolt position as needed for proper alignment with existing holes.
6. Test knob operation and deadbolt thumbturn function to verify smooth operation and proper latching. Refer to manufacturer documentation for complete installation details and pairing instructions with F58 exterior handleset.
