The EH Series Electromagnetic Door Holders by Security Door Controls are engineered for reliable door holding and release in fire life safety and security applications. This surface-mounted EH30 model is designed to hold fire-rated doors open and release them automatically via a remote switch or fire life safety system activation. Ideal for both emergency scenarios—where fire and smoke barriers are critical—and for convenience-based remote-controlled door operation.
With field-selectable holding force (25, 30, 35, or 40 lbs depending on voltage), low power consumption (15mA to 40mA), and an innovative ball pivot assembly for full plate contact, the EH30 offers both performance and efficiency. Its screw terminal block simplifies wiring, while slotted mounting holes and an optional adjustable rod allow for precise alignment even in challenging installations.
