98/99 Rim Exit Device

99 Exit Devices for all types of single and double doors with mullion, UL listed for panic exit hardware. Devices are certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.3 2014, Grade 1. The 99 device has a grooved mechanism case. The rim device is non-handed except when the following device options are used: SD (special dogging), -2 (Double Cylinder) or SS (signal switch). Covers stock hollow metal doors with 86 or 161 cutouts on single doors (may cover cutouts on pairs – consult template).

98/99 Series

The 98/99 Series devices are wide stile heavy-duty push pads. Architectural design elements differ between the 98 and the 99.

The 98 Series device has a smooth mechanism case, while the 99 Series has a grooved mechanism case. The 98/99 Series have all been certified to the highest industry standards and are used in schools, hospitals and government buildings.
