1) How high can the WAC Interlace PD-47839 pendant hang, and can it be shortened for a low ceiling?
The Interlace linear pendant adjusts from a 9 inch minimum overall height up to 138 inches, hung on cable with 140 inches of wire supplied. Height changes are made at the canopy through push pin connectors, so you set the drop on site rather than cutting the cable to length.
2) What junction box does the Interlace PD-47839 pendant mount to, and is a separate remote driver needed?
It mounts to a standard or pancake ceiling junction box, and the universal input driver is concealed inside the fixture, so there is no remote driver to find a home for above the ceiling. The canopy backplate is 7.88 inches in diameter, which is what has to cover your box and any old paint ring. It is a hardwired ceiling fixture, not a plug-in.
