Metallics CT3OTY – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the Metallics CT3OTY yellow tape for marking an open trench on a jobsite?
Yes. The CT3OTY is yellow open trench marking tape, used to flag an excavation or open trench so crews and foot traffic can see the hazard. It is an electrical jobsite supply item, not a buried warning tape for backfilling over conduit.
2) What is the exact part number to order the Metallics 3 inch yellow open trench roll?
Order it as Metallics CT3OTY. That one part number covers the 3 x 1,000' yellow open trench roll, and it is the only model on the item, so there is no size or color option to specify.
