2) Is the IDEAL 35-298 screwdriver set insulated for live electrical work?
No. The 35-298 is a cushioned-grip general-purpose set with nickel chrome finished shanks, not an insulated set. For work on or near energized conductors you need drivers rated and marked to the 1000V insulated standard; use these for de-energized work.
3) Does the IDEAL 35-298 set include cabinet-tip screwdrivers for device terminal screws?
Yes, two of them: a 3/16 in. cabinet (35-186) and a 1/4 in. heavy-duty cabinet (35-151). Cabinet tips keep the blade the same width as the shank, so they drop into recessed terminal screws on switches, receptacles and breakers without the flare of a keystone blade fouling the opening.
4) Can I buy a single replacement driver if one in the IDEAL set gets damaged?
Each piece carries its own IDEAL part number, so a lost or chewed-up driver can be replaced one for one: 35-193, 35-194, 35-183, 35-186, 35-151, 35-164, 35-154 and 35-166. That matters for MRO cribs that standardize on a tool list and reorder by number rather than rebuying the whole 35-298 set.
5) Does the 35-298 set cover Torx or square drive (Robertson) fasteners?
No. The 35-298 covers Phillips and slotted only, in keystone, round keystone, square keystone and cabinet blade styles. If your work involves Torx on fixtures or square drive on deck or panel screws, you will need to add those separately.
6) How do you tell the drivers apart quickly when they are in a pouch?

The tips are blasted rather than left smooth, which roughens the surface to bite into the fastener and reduce slip under torque. Combined with the cushioned rubber grips, that is aimed at driving panel and device screws without the tip walking out of the slot or cross recess.
8) Are these screwdrivers suitable for a service van or damp mechanical room?
