American Standard Cadet Ovation Two-Piece 1.28 gpf/4.8 Lpf Chair Height Elongated Toilet With Seat - AMS-760AA101

It's built for a standard 12-inch rough-in, measured from the finished wall back to the center of the mounting holes on the floor flange. If your flange measures 10 or 14 inches off the wall, this bowl won't set correctly without an offset flange.

Yes. The Cadet Ovation is stated as meeting Americans with Disabilities Act requirements for use and accessibility, and the bowl sits at chair height, 17 inches tall including the seat. That height is what makes it work for accessible units and senior housing. Note the description flags that actual height can vary slightly depending on the seat used.

The seat is included, and it's a slow-close seat and lid, so it won't slam. Color-matched bowl caps and a trip lever come in the box too. What you still need on site is a wax ring or gasket, closet bolts, and a supply line.

1.28 gallons per flush (4.8 liters), and it's WaterSense certified, which means roughly 20 percent less water than a standard 1.6 gpf toilet while performing as well or better. That matters if you're chasing a utility rebate or a green building credit on a multi-unit job.

Chair height sits at 17 inches with the seat, versus the roughly 15 inch seat height of a standard bowl. For senior living, accessible units, hospitality, and most adult commercial restrooms, chair height is what people expect and what ADA work requires. Standard height still makes sense in schools or anywhere children are the primary users.

The Cadet Ovation is an elongated bowl, which projects a few inches further into the room than a round front. In tight powder rooms or narrow stalls where clearance in front of the fixture is short, a round front bowl is the safer pick. Elongated is the standard for accessible and commercial work.

It ships in White, ordered as American Standard part number 760AA101.020. White is the only color offered on this model, which is what most property managers standardize on anyway since it matches existing fixtures across a portfolio.

The PowerWash rim directs water around the bowl to scrub it with every flush. On a property with high turnover or heavy traffic, that cuts down on how often staff have to hand-scrub the trap line, which is the usual complaint with low-flow bowls.

Two piece, so the tank and bowl arrive separate and bolt together on site. For a contractor that means lighter individual pieces up a stairwell and a cheaper tank swap later if a component fails. A one-piece unit has fewer seams to clean but is a single heavy lift and a full fixture replacement if it cracks.

Vitreous china, the standard material for commercial and residential closet fixtures. It's glazed, non-porous, and stands up to institutional cleaners, which is why it holds up in high-traffic restrooms.
