American Standard Colony PRO 2-Handle Kitchen Faucet 1.5 gpm/5.7 L/min With Side Spray - AMS-7074551

Yes. The Colony PRO two-handle kitchen faucet mounts on 8 inch triple-hole centers and works on either a 3-hole or a 4-hole deck. On a 3-hole sink the side spray takes one of the outer openings; on a 4-hole sink the spray goes in the extra hole. If your deck is single-hole or 4 inch centerset, this is the wrong faucet.

The metal lever handles on the Colony PRO are ADA compliant, which is what matters on an accessible kitchen sink: a lever that operates without tight grasping, pinching or twisting of the wrist. That makes it a workable spec for multi-family accessible units, group homes and break rooms in commercial buildings.

The Colony PRO 7074551 is rated 1.5 gpm (5.7 L/min). That is below the 2.2 gpm kitchen faucet maximum most codes use and meets the 1.5 gpm threshold commonly written into water-conservation and green building specs, so it works where a reduced-flow kitchen faucet is called for.

The side spray comes with the faucet. The 7074551 is the two-handle Colony PRO configured with the side spray, so you get the sprayer head, hose and deck escutcheon in the same box.

Construction is lead-free durable metal, so it is intended for potable water service in kitchens.

A two-handle faucet like the Colony PRO 7074551 separates hot and cold on 8 inch centers, which is what most existing apartment and commercial kitchen decks are already drilled for, so it drops into an older 3-hole sink without re-drilling or a deck plate. Single-handle faucets need a single hole or a cover plate. Two handles also mean two independent ceramic disc cartridges, so a drip is a one-side repair rather than a whole-valve swap.

The valving is drip-free ceramic disc rather than rubber washer or compression. Ceramic discs are the standard for repeated daily cycling in rental and institutional kitchens, and when service is eventually needed you replace a cartridge instead of reseating the body.
