American Standard Colony/Evolution 2 Chair Height Elongated Bowl - AMS-3068001

Chair height on the Colony/Evolution 2 means a 16-1/2 inch rim height, which puts the seating surface close to a standard dining chair instead of the roughly 14 to 15 inches of an older standard-height bowl. Less bending to sit and stand, which is why property managers and senior housing specify it. Note the 16-1/2 inches is rim height before the seat is added.

That is exactly what this part is for. The 3068001 is the bowl half of a Colony/Evolution 2 chair height two-piece toilet, sold on its own so you are not buying a whole fixture over one damaged piece. Your existing tank has to be the matching Colony/Evolution 2 tank at the same 10 inch rough-in, and you will want the color code to match: .02 for White, .222 for Linen.

No. This is an elongated bowl, so it needs an elongated seat. A round front seat will sit short of the front rim and overhang the hinge holes incorrectly. Order an elongated seat separately, since no seat is included with the bowl.

Two: White, ordered as 3068001.02, and Linen, ordered as 3068001.222. The bolt caps ship color-matched to the china, so the fasteners at the base blend rather than stand out. If you are matching an existing suite of fixtures, the suffix after the decimal is the color code to confirm on the order.

The trapway is 2 inches and fully glazed, so waste passes a smooth surface rather than raw china, which is the detail that matters for maintenance call volume. The water surface measures 9 by 8 inches, which keeps the bowl cleaner between services. Body is vitreous china.

Beyond the bowl you need the matching Colony/Evolution 2 tank, an elongated seat, and a wax ring or waxless gasket plus closet bolts for the flange. The bolt caps come with the bowl, so you do not need to source those separately. Standard supply line and a flange in serviceable condition round out the job.
