American Standard Delancey Single-Handle Pull-Down Dual Spray Function Kitchen Faucet 1.5 gpm/5.7 L/min - AMS-4279300

Yes, the Delancey pull-down is a single-hole kitchen faucet, so it mounts in one deck hole in the sink or countertop. If your sink is a 3-hole or 4-hole deck, you'll need an escutcheon or deck plate to cover the extra holes, since none is described as part of this faucet.

The Delancey faucet contains no more than 0.25% total lead content by weighted average, which is the lead-free limit applied to plumbing fittings in potable water service. Wetted construction is brass spout and metal body.

It is rated at 1.5 gpm (5.7 L/min), which is below the 2.2 gpm the standard US kitchen faucet maximum and satisfies the 1.8 gpm ceiling used in water-conserving specs. The spray head has a toggle to switch between a regular stream and spray at that same rated flow.

American Standard classifies the Delancey pull-down as a residential faucet, so it fits owner-occupied homes and apartment or condo unit kitchens. For a commercial kitchen, a cafeteria, or a high-traffic institutional sink, spec a faucet rated for commercial duty instead. Property managers standardizing across units can order the same model in four finishes to keep one part number per building.

Four: Chrome (4279300.002), Polished Nickel (4279300.013), Stainless Steel (4279300.075), and Brushed Cool Sunrise (4279300.GN0). All four are the same faucet body; finish is the only variable, and the finish is stated to resist scratches and corrosion.

The Delancey uses a forward-rotating handle specifically so the lever does not hit the backsplash when you open it, which is the usual failure with a single-handle faucet set close to a wall. The spout is high-arc and swivels for full sink access and filling tall pots. Listed dimensions are 3.313 height, 11.25 width, 26 length, so confirm the arc height against any window sill or upper cabinet before mounting.

Retraction is handled by American Standard's Re-Trax system, which manages extension, retraction and docking of the spray head, so the hose pulls back and the wand seats rather than hanging loose at the spout.

A ceramic disc valve cartridge, which is the drip-resistant type rather than a rubber-seat compression valve. That matters on a rental or multi-unit install where a dripping single-handle faucet is the most common service call.

Listed weight is 6.724 pounds, consistent with the brass spout and metal body rather than a plastic-bodied faucet. Country of origin is Mexico.
