American Standard Faucet Set Screw CA.E. & F1 - AMS-777

It's the faucet set screw American Standard supplies as a repair part, used to secure a handle to the faucet stem on CA.E. and F1 handle applications. It's a fastener, not a handle or cartridge, so you order it when the original screw is stripped, corroded, or lost and the handle no longer tightens down.

It's specified for the CA.E. and F1 handle applications. Set screw thread size and length vary across American Standard's faucet lines, so a screw from a different series will not reliably hold. Match your handle to the CA.E. or F1 designation before ordering, rather than assuming any American Standard faucet screw interchanges.

No. The set screw is offered in a single unfinished version only, with no chrome, brushed nickel, or bronze option. On most faucet handles the set screw sits under a button or index cap, or recessed in the handle hub, so finish match is not usually visible. If your handle exposes the screw head and you need it to match, this is not the part for that.

Just the screw. It's a fastener only, with no handle, index button, escutcheon, or stem included. If the handle splines are stripped or the handle is cracked, replacing the set screw won't fix it and you'll need the handle itself.

American Standard classifies it under repair parts rather than splitting it by residential or commercial line, so it is sold as a service item for the CA.E. and F1 faucet handles regardless of where they're installed. For an MRO or property maintenance buyer, that means the same screw covers those handles in apartments, offices, or public washrooms.

The listed product weight is 0.11, with packaged dimensions of 10.433 by 4.1 by 1. The weight is essentially the packaging, which is what you'd expect on a single handle screw, so it adds nothing meaningful to a consolidated MRO shipment.
