The Mezzo semi-countertop sink drops onto a counter as shallow as 13 inches deep, which is why it works in powder rooms and tight vanity runs where a standard drop-in won't fit. The sink itself is nominally 21-1/2 by 22 inches (546 x 559mm), so the front of the bowl projects past the counter edge rather than sitting fully on it. Measure your cabinet run for the 21-1/2 by 22 inch footprint before cutting.

It's drilled for an 8-inch widespread faucet, meaning three separate holes on 8-inch centers for a two-handle set with a separate spout. A single-hole or 4-inch centerset faucet will not cover the drilling, so order a widespread trim set with it.

It's self-rimming fire clay, so the finished rim carries the weight on top of the counter, no undermount clips or rail system needed. A cutting template, sealant and a mounting parcel come with the sink, so you can cut the counter and set it without sourcing extra hardware.

A drop-in sits entirely within the counter and needs a counter deep enough to carry the whole bowl, usually 19 to 22 inches. A semi-countertop sink like the Mezzo has the front of the bowl extending beyond the counter face, so it installs on a counter only 13 inches deep. Choose it when the cabinet or vanity run is too shallow for a conventional drop-in but you still want a self-rimming, top-mounted fixture.
