The Ovalyn Small 495221 is an under counter mount lavatory. It hangs below the countertop, so the counter material forms the visible deck around the bowl. The rim is left unglazed because it sits hidden against the underside of the counter and is bedded in sealant. If you need a bowl that sits on top of the deck with a finished visible rim, an undermount bowl like this one is the wrong choice.

A mounting kit and a cutout template ship with the Ovalyn Small 495221, so the clips and hardware to hang the bowl are in the box. What is not included is the sealant or setting compound, the countertop cutout itself, or the faucet and drain. Faucet holes are drilled in the counter deck on an undermount install, not in the china, so the faucet centers are set by your countertop fabricator.
