American Standard Prestige Framed 68-in Height Sliding Shower Door - AMS-AM00775436

Yes. The Prestige framed sliding door includes a simple out-of-square adjustment in the wall jambs, which is what lets it cover a range of 46 to 48 inches rather than one fixed width. That adjustment absorbs the taper you get in older tile and fiberglass surrounds, so you do not have to shim the frame to get the rollers running true.

Safety tempered glass, which is what code requires for any glazing in a bathing enclosure. Tempered glass breaks into blunt granules rather than shards, and it is the reason this door is acceptable for a multi-family or hospitality bathroom retrofit where you are replacing an older annealed or curtain setup.

A framed slider like the Prestige is the practical pick for turnover work. The frame carries the glass load, so the unit tolerates out-of-square walls and does not depend on heavy hinge hardware or perfectly plumb studs. Frameless doors need thicker glass and a truer opening, and they cost more to make good when a wall has moved. Where you want a fixed panel and a swinging door, a framed slider is the wrong type, since both panels here slide on a bottom track.

Two bracketed towel bars come with the Prestige door, one on each side of the sliding panels. Nothing extra to specify, and no separate wall anchoring, since the bars mount to the door brackets rather than to tile.

The Prestige uses an easy-to-clean bottom track system, which matters more than it sounds on a property with many units: the old style deep-channel tracks trap soap scum and standing water and are the usual source of tenant complaints and callbacks. The tracks here are shaped to wipe out rather than to be scrubbed with a brush.
