Plan on a 36 inch (914 mm) base cabinet. The Quince cast iron double bowl measures 33 x 22-1/4 x 9 inches nominal, so a 33 inch cabinet won't leave room for the cutout rim. If your run is already built with 30 or 33 inch sink bases, this sink is the wrong size for that opening.

It is built for top mount (drop-in) installation, with the rim sitting on the counter. Cast iron is heavy, so a drop-in run needs the cutout cut accurately and the cabinet and countertop able to carry the load.

Four holes are drilled in the deck. That covers a standard three-hole faucet with a spray, soap dispenser, or air switch in the fourth. If your faucet is a single-hole pull-down, you'll want deck plate or escutcheon coverage for the extra holes.

Both bowls are 9 inches deep, 13-1/2 inches wide and 16-1/8 inches front to back. Equal-size bowls at that depth take a full-size sheet pan flat in either side, and the 9 inch depth is what determines whether your disposal and trap arm will clear the cabinet floor.

Cast iron with a porcelain enamel surface holds up to heavy daily use and quiets water noise better than a thin stainless bowl, which is why it shows up in multi-family and hospitality kitchens. The tradeoff is weight: the cabinet and countertop have to support it, and the 36 inch base cabinet requirement is not negotiable on this 33 x 22-1/4 inch model.
