American Standard 1660403.007 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Will the American Standard SelectFlo scrub brush set fit any kitchen faucet, or only SelectFlo models?
Only SelectFlo. The brushes snap onto the faceplate of American Standard SelectFlo kitchen faucets, so there is no mounting provision for any other faucet body or spray head. If the faucet at the sink isn't a SelectFlo, this set won't attach.
2) How many brushes come in American Standard part 1660403.007?
Two brushes per set. One has soft gray bristles for gentle scrubbing and the other has firmer blue bristles for tougher jobs, so you get both grades in the one order rather than choosing between them.
3) What is the difference between the gray and blue bristles on the SelectFlo scrub brush?
The gray bristles are the soft ones, meant for gentle scrubbing where you don't want to mark a surface. The blue bristles are firmer for tough scrubbing, like baked-on residue. Both brushes are sink-application accessories for SelectFlo kitchen faucets.
4) Do I need tools or extra hardware to install the SelectFlo scrub brushes?
No tools and nothing extra to buy. Each brush snaps onto the faucet faceplate by hand, which also means a property manager or housekeeping staff can swap a worn brush without a service call.
5) Is the SelectFlo scrub brush a replacement part I can order for faucets already installed in my units?
Yes, it's a replacement accessory for SelectFlo kitchen faucets rather than a faucet component you have to plumb in. Order American Standard 1660403.007 to restock both bristle grades across a group of sinks; the brushes attach to the existing faceplate, so nothing about the faucet itself changes.
6) Does the SelectFlo scrub brush come in different finishes to match my faucet?
There is no finish option on this item, and none is needed. The brushes are supplied with gray and blue bristles and mount to the faceplate, so they don't have to match a chrome or stainless faucet trim.
