The kit is the lever handle, the mounting nut and the arm. That's everything on the tank side of the flush. What it does not include is the chain or the flapper, so if the old chain is corroded or the flapper is what's actually causing the run-on, order those separately and replace them while the tank is open.

Only if they're all left-hand. This assembly is the left-hand version, so a mixed building with handles on both sides needs the right-hand part as well. Sort your openings by which side the handle sits on before you order a case. Within the left-hand ones, pick chrome or linen to match the trim you already have.

The assembly measures 9.65 inches at its longest dimension, with the other two dimensions at 3.45 and 1.45 inches. That overall length is the lever plus arm together, which is what has to clear the inside of the tank and drop over the flush valve. It weighs well under a pound, so a case of these for a multi-unit turnover is easy to carry.

Replace the trip lever when the handle is loose, snapped, spinning, or the arm is bent or corroded so it doesn't lift cleanly. If the handle works normally and water still trickles into the bowl, the problem is almost always the flapper or the seat it lands on, not the lever, and this kit won't fix it. A cracked plastic arm is the common failure that does call for this part.
