American Standard Touchless Sensor-Operated Foam Soap Dispenser, Battery Powered - AMS-7770100

No. The 7770100 foam dispenser runs on any brand of foam soap that meets the viscosity requirement, so a facility can keep buying bulk foam soap instead of proprietary cartridges. It is a foam unit only, so liquid or lotion hand soap is the wrong fill for it.

Two ways. The battery version ships with four D-size alkaline batteries. Alternatively it can run off American Standard's existing plug-in or hard-wired power supply, sold separately, and a single AC power kit will run both a touchless faucet and the dispenser. For a restroom with no power at the deck, batteries keep the install simple; for a high-traffic facility that wants to stop changing cells, run the AC kit and feed the faucet off the same supply.

The reservoir is a 1.8 liter bottle with a quick release button, so the bottle drops out for filling or swapping rather than being topped up from above the deck. For a janitorial crew that matters: refills are a bottle change under the counter, not a deck teardown.

Yes, the foam generator has four adjustable volume settings. Dial it down in a high-traffic public restroom to cut soap consumption, or up in a kitchen or care setting where users want a fuller dose.

The body and shank are brass, which is what carries the abuse in a public restroom where the spout gets grabbed and cleaned daily. The soap bottle itself is a separate 1.8 liter reservoir below the deck.

It is built to pair with American Standard touchless faucets, both in styling and in power. Run the AC option and one power kit handles the faucet and the dispenser together, which keeps a single supply under the deck instead of two.
