1) Will the Blanco 234471 grid fit the right bowl of a Valea 50/50 sink?
No. The 234471 is custom-fitted to the LEFT bowl of Blanco Valea 50/50 double bowl kitchen sinks only. On a 50/50 Valea the two bowls are equal in size, but the grid is shaped around the bowl's drain position and contours, so the left-bowl grid is not the right-bowl part. Order the matching right-bowl Valea grid if you need to cover both basins.
2) Can I use this Blanco grid in a non-Blanco sink or a different Blanco model?
It isn't a universal grid. The 234471 is dimensioned for the left bowl of the Blanco Valea 50/50 sink, so in any other bowl it will either sit proud of the bottom radius or rattle around and stop protecting the finish. If your sink is another Blanco model, use the grid built for that model; if it's another brand, this one shouldn't be specified.
3) Does the grid block access to the sink drain?
No. The rear drain opening in the grid leaves the drain clear, so water and food debris pass straight through and you can still reach a basket strainer or disposal flange without lifting the grid out.
