Bobrick 368-60 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Which Bobrick cabinets does the B-368-60 waste receptacle module fit?
The B-368-60 interchangeable receptacle is built to drop into Bobrick's B-3944, B-3961 and B-3974 series units. It is a module, not a standalone can, so it only makes sense if you already have one of those housings or are specifying one.
2) Can I swap a Bobrick washroom cabinet from towel dispensing to waste without replacing the whole unit?
That is exactly what the B-368-60 module is for. Bobrick's interchangeable system lets you pull a module out of a B-3944, B-3961 or B-3974 cabinet and put a different one in as traffic and usage change, so the cabinet body, the wall anchors and the rough-in all stay put.
3) How much waste does the Bobrick B-368-60 module hold?
Rated at 18 gallons (68 litres). For a restroom with steady traffic that is a realistic daily liner change; low-traffic offices can usually run it longer between services.
4) Is the B-368-60 receptacle free standing or does it mount to the wall?
It is a wall mounted module. It carries no floor base of its own, it hangs in the host cabinet, so plan on the B-3944, B-3961 or B-3974 housing being anchored to the wall structure.
5) What is the Bobrick B-368-60 made of, and will it hold up in a high traffic public restroom?
Stainless steel with a satin finish. That is the standard choice for airports, schools and stadium washrooms because it resists dents and scratching from liner changes and cleans up with a damp cloth rather than showing every mark the way painted steel does.
6) Does the B-368-60 come in any finish other than satin stainless?
Satin is the only finish offered on this receptacle module, which keeps it consistent with the rest of the Bobrick stainless washroom line if you are standardizing a facility.
