TOTO SN9538M#01 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Is the TOTO NEOREST WX1 top unit a complete toilet, or do I need to order the bowl and tank separately?
Top unit only. To build a working NEOREST WX1 wall-hung installation you also need the CT9538CEFG bowl unit and the WT175MA in-wall tank unit, both sold separately. Order all three or the fixture cannot be completed.
2) What are the dimensions and weight of the NEOREST WX1 top unit for rough-in planning?
The top unit measures 26.625 x 17.625 x 4.75 inches and weighs 28.7 lb. That footprint sits over the wall-hung bowl, so allow clearance for the lid to auto-open behind it and plan the carrier and in-wall tank framing to take the added weight of the top unit plus bowl.
3) Does the NEOREST WX1 need a dedicated water heater or a hot water supply for the bidet wash?
No. Water heating is tankless and instantaneous inside the top unit, so warm water does not run out and there is no reservoir to feed. Wash temperature and spray pressure are both adjustable at the unit.
4) What flush volumes does the NEOREST WX1 wall-hung system use?
It is a dual flush setup at 1.2 GPF for the full flush and 0.8 GPF for the reduced flush, controlled through the top unit paired with the WT175MA in-wall tank.
5) For a hotel or multi-family spec, how much cleaning does the NEOREST WX1 actually reduce?
Two systems do the work. PREMIST wets the bowl surface before use so waste releases more easily, and EWATER+ mists the wand and the bowl afterward, cutting the need for harsh chemical cleaners. Housekeeping still wipes the fixture, but the bowl and wand are self-rinsing between uses.
6) Does the NEOREST WX1 top unit come with batteries, and what type does it take?
Batteries are included and they are alkaline. The wash, heated seat, deodorizer and sensor lid all run on the unit's power supply; the batteries cover the remote side of the operation.
7) What wash options does the NEOREST WX1 bidet give the user?
Three wash positions: front cleanse, soft rear cleanse, and rear cleanse. Each can run oscillating or pulsating, and both temperature and pressure are user-adjustable. The seat is heated and an automatic air deodorizer runs while the user is seated.
8) Does the lid open by itself, or does the user have to touch it?
The lid is sensor operated and auto opens and closes when it detects the user, so no contact with the lid is needed. That is the touch-free behavior facility buyers usually ask about for public and guest restrooms.
9) What color is the NEOREST WX1 top unit available in?
Cotton White is the finish offered, which matches the standard TOTO Cotton White used across the NEOREST collection, so it pairs with the WX1 bowl and other Cotton White fixtures in the same room.
