TOTO THU6234 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What is the TOTO THU6234 tee connector used for?
The THU6234 is the tee connector that splits the water supply during a TOTO WASHLET installation, so the seat gets its own feed off the toilet's existing supply line. It's a replacement or service part for the WASHLET line, not the seat itself.
2) Do I need tools to install the TOTO THU6234 tee connector?
No tools needed on the connection itself. The THU6234 uses a thumb nut that tightens by hand, which is what makes it workable in the tight space behind a toilet where a wrench won't swing.
3) Is the TOTO THU6234 tee connector metal or plastic, and will it corrode?
It's molded engineering plastic rather than brass, chosen to resist damage and corrosion. For property managers doing repeat WASHLET installs across a building, that means the fitting isn't going to green up or pit the way a cheap metal tee can in a hard-water bathroom.
4) Is the THU6234 the current version of the TOTO WASHLET tee connector?
Yes, THU6234 is TOTO's revised design, updated to help hold the connection secure. If you're replacing an older tee that has been weeping at the joint, this is the newer part rather than a like-for-like of the original.
5) Does the TOTO THU6234 tee connector come in different sizes or versions?
There's one version only. THU6234 is a single part number with no size, finish, or connection variations to specify, so ordering it is just the part number and quantity.
