TOTO TCU634CRE#12 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the TOTO TCU634CRE#12 just the ceramic lid, or does it include the flush valve and trip lever?
It is the tank lid only. TCU634CRE#12 is a replacement ceramic top for a one-piece T-Flush short tank, so if the fill valve, flush valve or trip lever also need replacing, those are ordered separately.
2) Will a TOTO tank lid from a different model fit my one-piece short tank toilet?
No. TOTO tank lids are model-specific castings, and on a one-piece toilet the lid is matched to that tank's rim shape and color. TCU634CRE#12 is the lid for the one-piece T-Flush short tank, so match the number to the tank rather than swapping a lid from another model.
3) I manage apartments with TOTO one-piece toilets and a tenant cracked a tank lid. Can I replace just the lid?
Yes, the lid is sold on its own, which is the usual fix for a cracked or chipped top without pulling the fixture. Confirm the tank is the one-piece T-Flush short tank and that your existing color code reads #12, then order TCU634CRE#12 as a direct lid replacement.
4) Where do I find the color code on my existing TOTO toilet to make sure the replacement lid matches?
TOTO stamps the color code after the model number, and it is usually inked inside the tank or on the underside of the existing lid. TCU634CRE#12 carries the #12 color, so a tank marked with a different code will not match visually even if the lid seats correctly.
