TOTO THP5268 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is TOTO THP5268 and what part of the diverter does it cover?
THP5268 is a TOTO trim part for a 3-way with off diverter, specifically the push button base. It is the visible trim piece at the wall, not the rough-in valve body, so you still need the diverter valve itself in the wall for the assembly to function.
2) How many outlets does a 3-way with off diverter control?
A 3-way with off diverter selects between three outlets, for example a showerhead, a handshower, and body sprays, plus a full off position. The TOTO THP5268 push button base is the trim for that style of diverter, so it suits a shower with three separate spray outlets rather than a simple two-way tub and shower changeover.
3) What is the exact TOTO part number to order for this diverter push button base?
Order it by TOTO part number THP5268. That is the manufacturer number for the 3-way with off diverter trim push button base, and it is the number to quote when matching an existing TOTO shower valve in a hotel or multi-family bathroom rollout.
