TOTO THU6097 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What exactly is the Toto THU6097 part?
THU6097 is the back cover for a Toto manual flush lever, in the Cotton (white) colorway. It is the trim piece that holds the manual flush lever at the tank or bowl, not the lever arm or the flush valve itself. If the lever still works but the cover at the mounting point is cracked, broken, or missing, this is the piece you want.
2) Does ordering the Toto THU6097 get me the flush handle and lever arm too?
No. THU6097 is only the back cover that holds the manual flush lever. The lever arm, handle, trip lever assembly, and any mounting nut are separate Toto parts. For a complete handle replacement, order the full trip lever assembly for your specific Toto model rather than this cover alone.
3) What color is the Toto THU6097 back cover, and will it match my white Toto toilet?
The THU6097 is the Cotton version, which is Toto's standard white. It is the match for fixtures ordered in Toto Cotton (#01). If your toilet is Colonial White, Sedona Beige, Bone, or any other Toto color, the Cotton cover will not match and you need the equivalent back cover in that color code.
4) How do I know the THU6097 is the right back cover for my Toto toilet model?
Toto assigns a specific THU part number to the lever hardware on each tank, so the surest check is the model number on your toilet or tank and the THU number of the lever assembly already installed. THU6097 is the Cotton back cover for a manual flush lever; it is not a universal cover that fits every Toto tank. Match the THU number stamped on or listed for your existing lever hardware before ordering.
