TOTO THU6727#01 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What color is TOTO #01 and will it match my existing TOTO fixture?
The #01 suffix in the part number THU6727#01 is TOTO's Cotton finish, their standard white. If the rest of your TOTO fixture is Cotton, this plate matches. If the fixture is Colonial White (#11) or Sedona Beige (#12), Cotton will read noticeably different next to it.
2) How do I make sure I order the right TOTO cover plate for my toilet or washlet?
Order by the TOTO part number, not by appearance. Cover plates look similar across models but are model specific. Confirm that the parts breakdown for your fixture calls out THU6727 as the back cover design plate, then add the #01 suffix for Cotton.
3) What exactly is the TOTO THU6727#01 back cover design plate?
It's a TOTO replacement cover plate, the back cover design plate in the Cotton (#01) color. It's a trim piece, not a working valve or tank component, so it conceals the back area it mounts over rather than affecting flush or water function.
4) Is this a functional plumbing part or just cosmetic trim?
Cosmetic. The THU6727#01 is a back cover design plate, a bath accessory trim part. Replacing a cracked or discolored one restores appearance; it won't fix a leak, a running fill valve, or a weak flush.
