TOTO THU9692 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is the TOTO THU9692 part?
THU9692 is a TOTO battery box holder, the bracket/housing that carries the batteries powering a TOTO fixture's electronics. It is a replacement component, not a complete sensor or flush valve assembly, so you order it when the holder itself is cracked, corroded or missing and the rest of the unit is fine.
2) Do batteries come with the TOTO THU9692 battery box?
No. THU9692 is the holder only. Batteries are a separate purchase, so plan on sourcing the cells your TOTO fixture calls out when you do the swap.
3) Is the TOTO battery box holder ordered by finish or is there only one version?
There is one version of the battery box holder, part number THU9692. No finish or size choices to specify, so the part number alone is the full order.
4) I manage several buildings with TOTO sensor fixtures. Can I stock THU9692 as a standard spare?
It works that way for openings running TOTO battery-powered washroom fixtures. Since THU9692 is a single, non-optioned part number, there is nothing to match on finish or handing when you pull one off the shelf. The one thing to confirm before you standardize is that the fixture model in your buildings calls out THU9692 specifically, because TOTO uses different holders across its electronic product lines.
