TOTO THP4734#BN – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What exactly is TOTO part THP4734#BN?
It's the TOTO TB100SF handshower spray head supplied with its O-ring, ordered under part number THP4734#BN. It's a replacement part for a faucet application, not a complete faucet or shower set, so you're buying the spray head itself to put back on existing valving and hose.
2) Does the TOTO THP4734#BN handshower come with the O-ring, or do I need to order that separately?
The O-ring ships with it. TOTO lists the part as handshower with O-ring TB100SF, so the seal that mates the spray head to the hose connection is in the box and you don't need a separate seal kit.
3) I have a TOTO tub filler with a TB100SF handshower that's clogged. Is THP4734#BN the correct replacement head?
Yes. THP4734#BN is TOTO's service part for the TB100SF handshower, so if the head on your faucet is the TB100SF, this is the direct swap. Match the finish code on the end of the number to the rest of your trim so the new head doesn't stand out against the spout and handles.
4) What finish is the #BN suffix on TOTO THP4734?
#BN is TOTO's brushed nickel finish code, and THP4734#BN is the brushed nickel version of the TB100SF handshower head. If your existing trim is polished chrome or polished brass, you want the matching finish code for that family instead of #BN.
5) Is TOTO THP4734 offered in more than one finish?
THP4734 is sold in the brushed nickel version, part number THP4734#BN. For maintenance buyers stocking spares across a property, order one per TB100SF handshower you maintain in brushed nickel trim and keep the full part number with the #BN suffix on your requisition so a chrome head doesn't arrive by mistake.
