TOTO THU6338#01 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is TOTO THU6338#01 a complete spray wand or just the cover?
Just the cover. The THU6338#01 is the front cover piece for the spray wand, so if the wand hose, internal diverter or the wand body itself is the problem, this part alone won't fix it. Order it when the outer cover is cracked, scratched or discolored and the wand otherwise works.
2) What does the #01 suffix on TOTO THU6338 mean?
On TOTO part numbers the code after the hash is the finish. Here #01 is Cotton, TOTO's white finish, so this cover is only a visual match to a white faucet. A chrome or brushed nickel wand takes a different suffix.
3) How do I make sure I order the right TOTO wand cover for my faucet?
Match by the TOTO part number, not by the faucet model name. Spray wand covers are specific to a wand assembly and a finish, so check the parts breakdown for your faucet and confirm it calls out THU6338 in Cotton (#01). If your breakdown lists a different THU number, that cover is the one you need.
4) Will the TOTO THU6338#01 cover match a chrome kitchen or lavatory faucet?
No. This cover is supplied in Cotton, TOTO's white finish, so on a chrome or nickel faucet it will read as a mismatched white piece at the head of the wand. For a metal-finish faucet you want the same THU6338 cover in the finish suffix that matches your trim.
5) Do I need any tools or extra parts to replace a TOTO spray wand front cover?
The THU6338#01 ships as the cover only, so nothing else is included. Plan on a soft cloth to protect the finish and whatever release the wand uses to free the old cover. No plumbing connections are broken to swap it, which is why it is a common in-unit repair for property maintenance rather than a plumber call.
6) Is TOTO THU6338#01 sold in more than one finish option?
It is offered as a single configuration, THU6338#01 in Cotton. There is no size or length choice to make with this part, only the confirmation that Cotton is the finish you want.
