TOTO 9AU5155#01 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is TOTO part 9AU5155 and what tub does it go on?
9AU5155#01 is TOTO's plastic overflow cover, a replacement trim plate for the ABF992 bath. It covers the overflow opening on that tub; it is the cover plate only, not the drain assembly or waste and overflow piping.
2) Can I use the 9AU5155 cover on a TOTO tub other than the ABF992?
It is specified for the ABF992 bath. TOTO overflow covers are model-specific in how they seat and fasten, so for any other tub model you should order the overflow cover called out for that model rather than assume this one drops in.
3) Is the TOTO 9AU5155 overflow cover metal or plastic?
Plastic. TOTO builds the 9AU5155#01 overflow cover as a molded plastic part, so if you are matching a metal trim ring on another tub this is not the same piece.
4) I only need the trim plate, not the whole waste and overflow. Is that what this is?
Correct, this is the cover plate alone. Property managers replacing a cracked or discolored overflow face on an ABF992 can order 9AU5155#01 by itself and leave the existing overflow tube and waste in place.
5) Does the TOTO 9AU5155 overflow cover come in more than one finish?
It is sold in a single configuration, TOTO part number 9AU5155#01. There is no alternate finish code for this cover, so the #01 suffix is the part you order.
