TOTO THU9924#01 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What exactly is the TOTO THU9924#01 side cover, and what part of the toilet does it go on?
THU9924#01 is a TOTO side cover for a toilet seat, specifically the rear deodorizer louver piece. It is the trim cover over the deodorizer filter area on a washlet-style seat, not the seat itself and not the filter cartridge. Order it when the cover is cracked, discolored, or missing after a filter change.
2) Is THU9924#01 the deodorizer filter itself or just the cover?
It is the cover only. THU9924#01 is the rear deodorizer louver side cover; the replaceable deodorizing filter element is a separate part. If your washlet is putting out odor, replace the filter element, not this cover.
3) What color is TOTO part THU9924#01?
The #01 suffix on THU9924 is TOTO's Cotton/beige-range color code, and the part is catalogued as SIDE COVER - S BEIGE. If the seats in your building are a different TOTO color code, the cover will not match, so match the suffix on the seat you are repairing.
4) We maintain a hotel with TOTO washlet seats - is this a stocking repair part worth keeping on the shelf?
Side covers like THU9924#01 are the kind of exposed plastic trim that gets broken by cleaning crews and guests, so facilities running TOTO washlets commonly keep a couple on hand. Stock it in the color code that matches your seats; the beige #01 cover will not blend with cotton white or other TOTO colors.
