TOTO THU9846 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the TOTO THU9846 a working valve or just a trim cover?
It is a cover, not a functioning valve body. TOTO catalogues the THU9846 as a water supply connection cover plate, so it trims out the connection rather than controlling flow. If you need the operating component, order the valve itself separately.
2) I manage a building with TOTO fixtures and need the supply connection cover replaced. Is THU9846 the part to order?
For a TOTO water supply connection that needs its cover replaced, THU9846 is the TOTO cover plate for that connection point. Match it against the original TOTO part number on the fixture's parts sheet before ordering, since TOTO uses model-specific trim across its lines.
3) Does the THU9846 come in more than one finish?
The THU9846 is sold as a single part with one configuration. There is no finish or size choice to specify, so the part number alone completes the order.
