1) Can I use the Accentra 7110/7120 top latch on a fire rated door opening?
No. The Accentra 7110/7120 top latch carries no fire rating, so it should not be used to service a labeled fire door assembly. Fire door openings have to be repaired with parts listed for that assembly, so on a labeled opening you need the fire rated version of the device and its matching latch instead.
2) My exit device won't latch at the top of the door. Is the top latch the part I need?

5) The top latch on my Accentra 7110 keeps missing the strike on a pair of doors. Is there a hardware option that removes the top latching point?
On a pair of doors, a removable mullion changes the approach: the Falcon 4023 is a steel mullion for double door exit device applications, which gives each leaf its own vertical strike edge so rim devices can be used instead of vertical rod devices. The Falcon 525 is a set of aluminum mullion stabilizers for exit devices. That is a device-level change, not a repair.
